Words from the Victim of PrivDog
" I installed a program called PrivDog, which came bundled with the Comodo Firewall application.
I have however found it of no use, and it gives me annoying pop-ups, so I decided to try and remove it, first by simply trying to uninstall it, which I could not (it says I have to shut down Chrome, even though I have not even opened Chrome). Then I tried removing the files, belonging to PrivDog, but that did not really help.
So could anyone please help me get rid of this? Approximately every time I turn on my computer, I get this Windows 7 System notificationof PrivDog wanting the right to do something, something which I do not grant it.
I do know it might not strictly be malware, but I mean it annoys me and I cannot really get rid off it, so I guess I consider it malware ."
